This lithograph was created in collaboration with Hjørring Grafiske Værksted during a period in my practice where I was working more intuitively and abstractly, responding to the raw, organic language of nature.
The image unfolds as a tension between force and softness. Gestural lines push through the surface, collide, hesitate, and break apart. Dense green forms press against lighter, more fragile pink layers, like something growing, resisting, insisting on taking space.
There is no fixed landscape here – only movement. Fragments of something blooming, dissolving, reconfiguring. An inner terrain rather than an outer one.
The work holds a kind of wildness for me. A reading of nature not as something to observe, but something to move through and with.
Title is a Virginia Woolf quote.
