“As an animist I believe everything is connected”

Art.

Mia-Nelle Drøschler’s practice encompasses painting, drawing, and sculpture. Her work investigates the relationship between aesthetics, intuition, and consciousness, drawing on an animistic worldview in which all things—human and non-human, material and immaterial—are intrinsically connected. Through vibrant colour palettes, organic forms, and symbolic motifs, Drøschler transforms materials and narratives into aesthetic architectures that speak to the fluid boundaries between inner and outer worlds. Her works unfold as intuitive gestures, where nature and the body are not merely subjects, but active participants in the creative process.

MANIFESTO

MANIFESTO

I create to connect.
With the earth, the unseen, the sensory, and the living in all things.

My art is a state of becoming.
A continuous transformation in dialogue with materials and the rhythms of nature. Nothing is fixed. Nothing is separate. Creation is a conversation — a listening — an opening toward something greater.

My practice is ensouled.
Colors, forms, marks, and textures are not random — they speak to me. They carry stories that long to be born. I create to link the soul to what lies beyond the self.

My art is not a commodity, but a testimony.
It speaks of cycles that can’t be measured by clicks, prices, or prestige.

I am a visual artist. I am a writer. I am a vessel.
My practice grows in circles — like the plants in my garden — not in lines toward a career peak.

I say no to capitalism’s gaze — the one that sees art as investment.
I say yes to giving people experiences that root, awaken, and transform.

I live and create in deep connection with nature, because that is where I belong.
My studio is not just a workspace — it is a space of ritual. Paintings are born with soil under my nails and birdsong in my chest.

I only collaborate with those who honor the integrity of the work and the slowness of art.
I do not shrink to fit the form. I expand the form to fit who I am.

I do not create to be seen — I share when I have something true to give.
My voice is quiet, but steady. It may speak to those who can listen with their souls.
