Poetry and storytelling is the core of Mia-Nelles writing which she often combines with her drawings. A curiosity of existentialism is often played out from her own experiences in an honest and humanistic language.

Mia-Nelle lives and working in a farmhouse from 1901 in the countryside in Denmark. It is not only a place for her to create, is is also an extension of her life philosophy, that nature is the foundation of our lives why she lives almost off-grid in a self-sufficient way.

About

Mia-Nelle graduated from Goldsmiths Fine Art in 2010 and has shown her art work in a number galleries and museums in Europe, as well as received a number of prestigious art awards.

She has published two books in Danish and is a popular mentor for art students and art professionals.

Today she is painting, drawing and writing on a daily basis in the woods near her farmhouse, as she beliefs in the importance of connecting to what is so sacred in the nature around us.
