As part of the urban renewal project in Nordvest, Mia-Nelle Drøschler has created a site-specific gable artwork at Tagensbo School. The work consists of 24 circular elements in three different sizes, mounted as a relief on the gable wall.

Each circle is adorned with patterns and symbols inspired by nature. The motifs originate from two workshops with the schoolchildren, during which they explored the local surroundings together with the artist and collected natural materials. Based on these findings, the children created sketches, which Drøschler later developed and incorporated into the final artwork.

The installation connects the children’s perspective on nature with the site itself, giving the gable a vibrant expression rooted in shared experience.
